Method

query_stats Audit my social media use

Guide: I identify what social media gives me, what it takes from me, and when it becomes automatic.
  • Separate useful use from reflex scrolling.
  • Choose one priority: sleep, focus, mood, self-image, conflict or lost time.
  • Change one trigger at a time.

notifications_off Remove triggers

Action: I turn off non-essential notifications and keep only genuinely useful human contact.
  • No badges for likes and comments.
  • Scheduled check-ins instead of constant interruptions.
  • Important messages can stay available without the feed being open all day.

bedtime Protect the evening

Sleep: I stop social media before my sleep routine because it mixes light, novelty, social feedback and comparison.
  • Phone away from the bed.
  • Apps off the home screen.
  • Replace the final scroll with reading, breathing or journaling.
